Services offered

The Québec Gay Archives offers what is essentially a reference service. We help researchers focus their topics and we direct them towards the best possible information sources held in our collections. We might also refer them to other community groups, libraries or information sources where they will find information which we do not have. In addition, thanks to the international aspect of our collection, we can respond to information requests concerning gays and lesbians in many different regions of the world.

These collections are accessible to the public during our regular opening hours, which are Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, or by appointment.
